Greetings from the MBA Ladies Retreat Committee,
The buzz is in the air—retreat season is here again! We, the worker bees of the committee, are excited to prepare a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement for our 2025 retreat. This year, Holly Stratton will be stirring our hearts with the theme “Be Steadfast!”
Mark your calendars! First Baptist Church of Baxter is graciously hosting our retreat on Friday-Saturday, April 11-12. To keep the hive running smoothly, please don’t arrive before 3:15 PM on Friday to allow their school to finish the day. Our first session kicks off at 4:00 PM, followed by a delicious meal at church and an evening session to feed our souls. Need a cozy hive for the night? Discounted hotel rates are available—visit our website for details.
Retreat packets are being mailed to the churches! Inside, you’ll find registration pamphlets and posters ready for your church bulletin board. Need more copies? Just email us and we’ll gladly send extras. Everything is also downloadable here (links below).

🍯 Two-day Retreat: $50
🍯 Teen or One-day Rate: $35
🍯 Late Fee: Add $10 if postmarked after March 31
As a sweet bonus, those who register by March 31 will receive a special “Be Steadfast” tote bag or t-shirt as a retreat gift! Be sure to select your choice on the order form.
The retreat boutique is back by popular demand! If you or a busy bee you know would like to sell handcrafted goods or specialty items, sign up on our Vendor Form. Our team will review applications and provide setup details.
We can’t wait to gather with our sister bees for a hive full of encouragement, fellowship, and faith. See you in April!

Ladies from many of our associating churches attended the Ladies Retreat on March 15-16, 2019, at First Baptist Church of Baxter. The speaker was Jeannie Vogel, an author and retreat speaker. In addition, the ladies enjoyed a concert with violinist Jamie Jorge.
