Greetings from the MBA Ladies Retreat Officers,

As we move towards the end of the year the MBA Ladies Board and I can’t help but reflect on how wonderful our 2022  retreat was. While a great venue and terrific speaker are important, what really makes the ladies retreat is you! Women coming together to support and encourage each other from God’s Word while having great speaker sessions are just a few of the highlights from my experience with ladies’ retreats.

The officers and I are busy making plans for our 2023 retreat in April. Enclosed with this letter you will find several Save the Date cards as we eagerly anticipate our guest speaker, Faith Taylor. We will be focusing our time together on the importance of prayer, and remembering to pray in all things.  It is because of this desire that our theme for the April 21-22nd retreat is “Tethered to the Savior”
as we learn to live out Romans 12:12 by “continuing steadfastly in prayer.”

The other officers and I encourage you to share these cards among your church as well as mail them to your tribe of gal pals inviting them to the retreat too. Information on the retreat will be regularly updated on the MBA’s website as well as Facebook. If you have any need to contact us, the officers can be reached at mbaladiesfellowship@gmail.com.

We look forward to seeing you in April.
In Christ’s Service,
Michelle Weist

The Minnesota Baptist Association provides a platform for churches who are in agreement with our doctrinal statement to fellowship in partnership, propagation, and publication for the purpose of greater ministry effectiveness for the glory of God in the state of Minnesota.

We partner together for edifying meetings, encouraging fellowships, offering help in pastoral transitions, and other areas of cooperation that will strengthen the churches.
We propagate by planting new congregations, providing help to struggling congregations, and recruiting congregations who are not a part of our association but would agree with our doctrinal statement.
We publicize our positions and activities to the churches for purposes of information, edification, accountability, and promotion.
